Job summary

Cornerstone is seeking an experienced Health & Social Care leader to join us as Service Lead for our North Lanarkshire transitional housing support services. This permanent, full-time role (39 hours per week) involves leading a dedicated team, delivering high-quality, person-centred support and reporting to the Associate Director.

You will drive service development and collaborate with colleagues to share best practice.

Are you an experienced Health & Social care professional who's ready to take your next step on your leadership journey? We're looking for an experienced and passionate Service Lead to join us on a permanent, full-time basis (39 hours per week). Working as part of a supportive management team, you’ll provide strong leadership, coaching and direction to your team, ensuring the people we support receive consistently high-quality, person-centred support. As Service Lead, you’ll play a key role in leading our Housing Support transitional support to young people in North Lanarkshire. It's an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow our transitional services. Reporting to our Associate Director, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead and develop a dedicated team of Lead Practitioners and Support Practitioners
• Drive continuous improvement across the service
• Promote a culture of high-quality, person-centred support
• Ensure the people we support are empowered to achieve their goals, develop their independence and live the life they choose
• Work collaboratively with other Service Leads and Lead Practitioners within the branch to share learning and best practice
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, families, professionals and the wider community
• Take on Registered Manager responsibilities, providing an opportunity to further develop your leadership experience

This is a role where your leadership will have a direct and meaningful impact. You’ll join an established team, who share a passion for providing excellent support; helping the people we support get the most out of life. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in transitional services but this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidate.

As Service Lead, you’ll help your team to deliver excellent outcomes while ensuring the service continues to improve, grow and evolve.

Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll already hold SCQF Level 9 and a PDA in Management, but we won’t let that stop us from hearing from the right person. We’re committed to investing in our people and supporting you to achieve the qualifications required by the SSSC. Through our Training Academy, we’ll help you develop the skills and fund the qualifications you need to succeed.

Working pattern

This is an off-rota leadership role, with working hours typically Monday to Friday. As you’ll be leading a busy service, there may be occasions when you’ll need to work evenings or weekends in response to service needs. You’ll also participate in rotational on-call duties.
