Become a Lead Practitioner - Science at Leigh Academy Minster!

Are you ready to take your teaching career to the next level? As Lead Practitioner in Science, you’ll be at the forefront of driving excellence across the academy, shaping exceptional teaching and learning, and inspiring both students and staff. You'll play a key role in translating our academy’s vision into vibrant, engaging science lessons that make a real difference.

In this exciting role, you’ll develop and implement innovative strategies for science teaching, mentor colleagues, and create a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement. You'll also have the chance to lead and shape the science curriculum while ensuring that our students are challenged and inspired to reach their full potential.

What we’re looking for:
  1. A passionate science educator with a track record of outstanding classroom practice.
  2. Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to inspire and support colleagues.
  3. A commitment to raising achievement and delivering exceptional learning experiences.
  4. Knowledge and experience of the science curriculum, with a desire to innovate and inspire.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a leadership salary scale, based on experience.

The basis of this role is full-time, permanent and offering a salary of leadership scale commensurate with experience.
