Are you an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher with the skills, confidence, creativity and energy to make a positive impact on the lives of our students?

We are seeking to appoint a Lead Practitioner of Science to join our highly successful Science department. We offer Physics, Chemistry and Biology to our students from KS3 to A level. The successful applicant will be able to teach one of the Sciences to A level and the others to GCSE. If you are a teacher with excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills, if you can build positive relationships with staff and all learners and you are committed to raising the attainment of your students then please send your application to us.

As a teacher of Science, you will be responsible for assessing students against learning outcomes and ensuring all groups of students make progress. You will be able to ensure that all groups of students at all key stages are appropriately challenged and supported to achieve their very best. You will be committed to maintaining and improving our high-quality provision.

St Bernard's High School is a Catholic girls' school from Years 7-11 with a co-educational Sixth Form. Our school is ranked one of the top schools in Southend, and we are in the top 20% of schools across the country for our progress with students and our outcomes.
