Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Leading best practice across the Science department with a focus on pedagogy

• Modelling outstanding classroom practice across key stages

• Mentoring ECTs and supporting colleagues through coaching and joint planning

• Using data to inform departmental teaching strategy

• Developing innovative teaching resources and schemes of work

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A qualified Science teacher with a track record of exceptional results

• Experience teaching at KS4 and ideally KS5 in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

• A reflective and research-informed approach to teaching and curriculum design

• Proven ability to support, lead and inspire colleagues

• A commitment to inclusion, achievement, and whole-school improvement

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
