About this Role

The Role

As Lead Practitioner of Literacy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning experience across the English Department and beyond. You will:

  • Work with the Head of English to drive outstanding teaching and learning in Literacy.
  • Lead on intervention strategies to maximise student achievement.
  • Support and develop colleagues through coaching, CPD, and resource development.
  • Inspire students to achieve their very best, raising aspirations and removing barriers to learning.
  • Contribute to whole-school priorities, making a meaningful impact across the curriculum.
