Redhill Academy Trust Teachers’ Leadership Pay Scale L1 - L5

Actual Salary: £49,781 - £54,939 per annum

Required From September 2025


We have an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified and excellent Teacher of Computing. You will work as part of the Trust academy improvement team to drive standards and improve outcomes for students across the Trust.


As an outstanding teacher, you will have a substantive teaching commitment at The Redhill Academy. The remainder of your time will be spent working across Trust academies, as required. You will collaborate with the Trust Director to develop aspects of the Trust improvement plan.


Responsibilities

The following outlines the responsibilities of a Trust Lead Practitioner, appropriate to a position on the leadership spine:

  1. Develop and implement Teaching and Learning initiatives to raise student standards across the Trust.
  2. Model excellent practice that leads to strong student outcomes.
  3. Set high professional standards as a role model.
  4. Support the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team in the smooth running of your assigned academy.
  5. Support Teachers to improve their practice across Trust schools, as directed by the Trust Subject Director.
  6. Develop high-quality teaching materials and schemes of learning.
  7. Undertake research into best practices.
  8. Collaborate with the Trust academy improvement team to ensure high achievement through effective teaching and learning.
  9. Plan, prepare, and deliver CPD sessions.

The Redhill Academy is part of Redhill Academy Trust and is a member of the Redhill College of Leadership and Development, offering excellent CPD opportunities and collaboration with colleagues from other high-performing schools. The Trust also leads the regional Teaching School Hub, delivering local teacher training and National Professional Qualifications.
