About This Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Lead Practitioner of English to join our existing English team.

As Lead Practitioner for English, you will work to improve the quality of teaching and learning within English generally and support the development of teaching and learning across the academy. About You

The successful candidate will be an expert in English with a proven track record of successful outcomes, and a keen interest in developing the practices of colleagues to further strengthen teaching and learning of the faculty.

We Are Looking For a Candidate Who Is

• A creative, inspirational, and well-qualified teacher with outstanding subject knowledge.
• Able to drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning within the subject, raising standards, and ensuring student achievement is maximized.
• Knowledgeable about the current educational landscape, government initiatives, OFSTED requirements, and implications for academy direction.
• Confident in the use of systems and data tracking.
• Able to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff.
• Keen to make a difference to the education of our students.
