Job Title: Lead Practitioner – Community Team

Location: Barnet, United Kingdom

Rate: Up to £38.50 per hour

An exciting opportunity has become available at Barnet London Borough Council for a Lead Practitioner to join their Community team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to social workers and support staff, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Manage duty by monitoring phones and emails, allocating cases, and quality assuring work.
  • Deliver and oversee exceptional social care to adults and their carers, promoting choice and control.
  • Coordinate and deliver integrated care with health professionals and stakeholders.
  • Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring safety and well-being of vulnerable adults in accordance with policies.
  • Deliver supervision to the team.
