VIQU have partnered with a leading UK systems integrator in the energy sector seeking an experienced Lead Power Systems Engineer for Substation Design.

You'll play a key role in delivering complex Protection & Control solutions across Transmission and Distribution projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of substation protection and control solutions for Transmission and Distribution projects.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability and safety requirements are met.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineers and designers within the project scope.
• Contribute to project planning, risk management and interface with clients and stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in substation design, protection and control philosophies, relay schemes and integration.
• Strong understanding of relevant standards and grid code requirements.
• Ability to lead technical discussions, produce technical documentation and drawings, and support commissioning activities.
