Role: Lead Power BI Developer

Location: Birmingham (2 Days In-Office Per Week)

Duration: 12 Months Fixed-Term

Salary: 45,000 - 55,000

Network IT is seeking an exceptional Lead Power BI Developer, an expert in Power BI and related tools, to take ownership of our client's Power Reporting Platform amid a significant data warehouse migration project.

This role requires someone to leverage their technical, hands-on Power BI experience to advise stakeholders on data ingestion and usage, utilizing insights from various sources to inform key decisions.

The successful candidate must be able to commute to Birmingham regularly, as the role requires in-office presence two days a week.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI tools and systems, including creating data-rich dashboards, writing DAX expressions, and implementing security measures. Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy advanced BI solutions aligned with stakeholder requirements is essential. Experience in developing custom BI products using SQL, R, and Python is highly desirable.

Additionally, familiarity with data integration, data warehousing, data modeling, and data presentation concepts is important.

Other key qualities include:

• Extensive report writing experience using Tableau or SAP BOBJ
• A keen eye for user experience
• Experience covering the entire system development lifecycle
