Job Title: Analytical Lead Chemist

Our client has developed an innovative process to repurpose CO2 into high-performance polymeric materials for various everyday products. Having successfully established their business through early research and development, they are now beginning to license this technology and process to established partners worldwide.

Role Overview:

The Analytical Lead Chemist will oversee and perform analytical characterization of starting materials, intermediates, and products using techniques such as HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, and GPC. Responsibilities include method development and validation, data analysis, reporting, training colleagues, and supervising the analytical team. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to improve processes and maintain high-quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory.
2. Proven track record in developing and validating methods on chromatography instruments.
3. Hands-on experience with HPLC, LC-MS, or GPC.
4. Experience analyzing polymers or solid theoretical knowledge of polymer chemistry.

Experience in polymer chemistry or polymer characterization is highly advantageous.
