Job summary

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Podiatry Team Leader to provide clinical, operational and professional leadership within the Podiatry Service at Walsall.

You will manage a defined team of podiatrists and support staff, deliver high-quality, evidence-based care across community, acute and specialist podiatry pathways, and drive workforce development and service transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered Podiatrist with HCPC registration.
• Postgraduate qualification in podiatry or related field preferred.
• Experience leading podiatry teams and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of podiatry staff and support workforce.
• Lead service improvement projects and evidence-based practice.
• Maintain an expert clinical caseload in high-risk foot care.
• Lead on clinical governance, audits and policy development.
• Support education, mentorship and CPD for staff and students.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
