Salary Range: £75,000

WeDo have partnered with a business who are considered to be a market leader in the key and access management field. As a business, they have a wide product portfolio underpinned by complex technology/IoT. Working alongside an existing engineering team of 8 (Software Engineers) with a really strong understanding of the Industry domain, there is a need to move their existing product suite into more of a SaaS offering. A Lead Devops engineer is therefore needed to drive this initiative.

The initial exploratory work will be to work with two other platform savvy engineers and a Lead Solution Architect to define a suitable roadmap. The ability to translate high level design into tech/platform architecture would be hugely desirable. Building out a "DevOps" culture will also feature highly so the ability to galvanise the existing team and work with additional stakeholders will prove instrumental.

Key tooling:

  • Multi-cloud experience (there is the opp to push either but Azure likely to be preferred)
  • GitLab
  • IaC - Terraform/ARM - Mandatory
  • K8s - AKS and/or EKS
  • Ideally a software background - C#/.Net (not mandatory)
  • DevSecOps

This is a remote opportunity with very occasional travel - one day every couple of months.

Interview slots are available with an expected turnaround time to be 7-14 days from start to finish. Two stage process with no take home test etc.

There is no sponsorship on offer and you need to be based in the UK to be considered for this one.

Please apply now for further consideration.

Please note that if you are NOT a passport holder of the country for the vacancy you might need a work permit. Check our Blog for more information.
