Job description

Job Title: Lead Planning, Monitoring & Control Professional - Planning

Location: Barrow-in-Furness

Contract Duration: 12 months

Salary: £63.40ph UMB or £47ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

Job Summary

The individual in this role will manage the PM&C processes of a small project, or a part of a larger, more complex project, or support a Project Manager or Head of Project with aspects of managing PM&C on a larger project. They may lead a small team of up to 5 professionals, managing their delivery, performance, and development.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Experience as a Planner (Project management role not suitable)
• Proficiency with P6 planning software
• Existing SC clearance
• Significant experience in production planning or planning engineering within the defence sector
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for cross-functional team management

Qualifications

• University Degree or substantial practical experience
• PM Qualification such as APM Project Management Qualification

Security Clearance

Must already hold SC clearance. Subject to ITAR and UK eyes only.
