Working Pattern: Contract / Full Time

As the Lead Planning Engineer, you will:

1. Work with the planning team; the Lead Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all project planning, control management support to Projects and other corporate functions needs are met.
2. Be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the company project plan / schedule and interface with / input to client project plan.
3. Understand and positively react to PD&MS needs in an expedient and proactive manner within the planning function.
4. Be responsible for the identification and delivery of department project deliverables in accordance with agreed schedules and priorities.
5. Be responsible for the development and improvement of planning systems, tools, and processes.
6. Lead and support the periodic review of company planning procedures and policies.
7. Attend kick-off meetings and gather data to determine schedule constraints.
8. Establish set project baselines and obtain agreement from all stakeholders.
9. Liaise and interface with client representatives on issues of project planning.

About You

You’ll have experience of:

1. Demonstrable experience in the application of project planning and control principles.
2. Reasonable understanding of all engineering disciplines.
3. Previous experience in a similar role.
4. Competent in the use of MS Office applications.
5. Exposure to people management / experience in managing and developing others.
