Job description

Lead Physiotherapist for Complex Medicine

At MKUH, we are committed to career development through both leadership and advanced clinical practice routes. You will have the opportunity to attend our MSc Frailty module, developed in collaboration with Northampton University. Additionally, you will benefit from support from our dedicated Therapy Practice Development team.

Leadership and Management

To provide clinical and managerial leadership to the clinical team within your specialty by working collaboratively with other Lead Therapists and the Therapy Service Lead.

Clinical Practice

To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work, ensuring high standards of clinical care for patients under your management, supporting junior staff to do the same.

Professional Duties

To maintain your competency through CPD activities, staying informed of new trends and incorporating them into practice as necessary.

Governance

To demonstrate understanding of Clinical Governance and Risk Management and their application to your work.
