Are you a dedicated and experienced Physiotherapist looking to lead within a specialist neurorehabilitation environment? We are seeking a motivated Lead Physiotherapist to join our outstanding multi-disciplinary team at Hunters Moor Neurological Rehabilitation Centre in Birmingham.
Hunters Moor is a 33-bed service providing specialist support for individuals with complex neurological and physical health needs. Residents may be with us for rehabilitation, long-term care, respite, or end-of-life support. Many are admitted directly from acute or Level 1 rehab settings once medically stable, enabling them to continue their rehabilitation in a safe, supportive, and clinically advanced environment.
As our Lead Physiotherapist, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation to individuals with a range of conditions including brain and spinal injury, stroke, motor neurone disease, and other progressive or complex neurological disorders. Our focus is on maximising independence and recovery through evidence-based practice and goal-driven therapy.
You’ll lead a skilled team within a well-established MDT that includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, specialist nurses, therapy technicians and rehabilitation assistants. Together, we support individuals with a wide range of complex needs, including respiratory and tracheostomy care, diabetes, wound and medication management, stoma and catheter care.
At Hunters Moor, we are committed to clinical excellence, continuous quality improvement, and delivering care aligned with the CQC’s five key domains. If you are a compassionate, forward-thinking clinician who thrives on leading high-performing teams and making a meaningful difference, this is the role for you.
Our standard working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. However, we understand the importance of a positive work-life balance, and therefore, if you require some flexibility to better suit your personal or professional needs, we encourage you to discuss this with us, and we will do our best to accommodate your preferences where possible.
We also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions. To support this, we are a Disability Confident employer.
