7+ years of experience in PHP development, with a focus on large-scale projects.
Strong experience with PHP 8.3+, Vue.js, JavaScript, and SQL.

Develop and maintain PHP applications and Vue.js front-end interfaces.
Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship.

Rate: £375 per day (Outside IR35)
Contract: 3-month rolling contract
Location: Mainly remote, with some office days required per month

The Role

A leading organisation in the healthcare sector is looking for a Lead Developer to support the development of new and existing software solutions using PHP and Vue.JS. The role requires strong integration experience, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain PHP applications and Vue.js front-end interfaces
Optimise and refactor code to improve performance, security, and maintainability
Ensure high code quality through testing, reviews, and best practices
Design and implement system integrations for smooth interaction between applications
Maintain and enhance existing PHP-based systems to meet industry standards
Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders
Provide technical mentorship and foster knowledge-sharing within the team

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in PHP development (minimum 4 years in large-scale projects)
Strong experience with PHP 8.3+, Vue.js, JavaScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
Experience working in an agile development environment
Previous experience in healthcare software development (preferred but not essential)
