We have an exciting opportunity for a registered Pharmacy Technician with Hospital Pharmacy experience and a keen interest in utilising technology in the provision of Pharmacy Services.
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician with extensive Purchasing and Distribution experience and a keen interest in Service development. You will ensure a safe, high-quality patient-centred service by planning, developing, monitoring, and evaluating the service through auditing. You will need to ensure that appropriate training is provided for all staff working in the area, with complete training records maintained.
You will also be responsible for managing the Band 5 in Distribution and providing support to enable them to manage the Distribution Team. Additionally, you will ensure that the rotational Band 4 in Purchasing is appropriately trained and supported.
Applicants must have the NVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 qualification (or equivalent), BTEC or equivalent certificate, and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
You will be responsible for managing the Band 5 in Distribution and supporting their management of the Distribution Team. You will also oversee the training and support for the rotational Band 4 in Purchasing.
