A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a dedicated pharmacist for their rheumatology services. The successful candidate will manage clinic support, oversee Homecare services, and ensure effective funding application processes for high-cost medications. Qualifications include GPhC registration and independent prescribing certification. The Rheumatology service cares for over 5000 patients across 4 hospital sites, with over 2600 patients prescribed biologic therapy. We are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward‑thinking pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Specialist Medicine Team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. team provides clinical pharmacy services across several specialties within the Specialist Medicine directorates. In this role, you will be the lead pharmacist for rheumatology services. You will support the Biologics Review Clinics to ensure all these patients are regularly reviewed & treatment tailored to their requirements. A good understanding of the high‑cost drugs process is required as you will be expected to monitor & manage funding applications for these medicines within Rheumatology.
