Overview

This is a senior post with a 50:50 split between HIV pharmacy and AMS responsibilities, plus acting as the lead for antifungal stewardship.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop HIV pharmacy services, providing advanced clinical input and supporting MDTs.
  • Drive AMS initiatives, including policy development, audit, training, and reporting.
  • Oversee quality improvement projects, service development, and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across specialties, and regional/national networks.
  • Be the named lead for Antifungal Stewardship
Qualifications
  • Be a registered pharmacist with substantial post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy, ideally with expertise in infectious diseases, HIV, and/or antimicrobial stewardship.
  • Advanced clinical knowledge and experience in HIV and AMS.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
  • Experience in service development, audit, and multidisciplinary working.
  • Independent prescribing qualification (or working towards).
  • A commitment to patient-centred care, innovation, and continuous improvement.
