We have an exciting opportunity for a driven pharmacist to lead on the provision of clinical pharmacy services to the 12-bed critical care unit, recovery units, and operating theatres at our Bedford Hospital site, which treats a diverse range of medical and surgical patients requiring multiorgan support. You will also be one of our lead pharmacists contributing to the running of our clinical pharmacy service, including line-management and training responsibilities.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and motivated pharmacist with experience in various clinical specialties, including critical care, who will be supported to further develop their skills in this lead role.
You must possess the vision, energy, enthusiasm, and influencing skills to deliver the safest possible care to our patients. The ability to engage, motivate, and work closely with medical, nursing, pharmacy, and general manager colleagues is essential.
As a GDE site, we are a digitally advanced trust with electronic prescribing already in place for inpatient prescribing on our wards and critical care unit. Part of your role would include supporting and developing additional digital innovations within critical care at the Trust.
