Job summary
o To be responsible for the delivery of the Trust Digital Medicines strategy ensuring the implementation of medicines management technology in a safe and controlled manner.
o To lead on core areas of the strategy as defined and to assist in the implementation and development of electronic medicines management in conjunction with the Digital Medicines project manager and the project team.
o To act as system manager for the electronic prescribing and medicines management system.
o To work closely with the Electronic Patient Records (EPR) Team and Digital Programme team to provide Pharmacist oversight and authority to all digital initiatives that impact medicines optimisation.
o To liaise with internal and external staff to support an effective prescribing, dispensing, administration and supply service.
o To provide a consistently high level of pharmaceutical service in line with Trust objectives and NHS Plan.
