A healthcare organization in England is seeking a Lead Pharmacist Aseptic Services. This role provides leadership and management of our Pharmacy Aseptic Services Unit in accordance with current legislation, Pharmacy, Trust, local, and National Standards.
The unit produces over 3,000 items a month, including ready-to-use and named patient dispensed medications, and is undergoing a planned refurbishment as part of a longer-term replacement process.
It has a highly dedicated team and is supported by an in-house Quality Assurance/Control service, as well as extensive clinical pharmacy and clinical trials services.
To be the professional lead for Pharmacy Aseptic Services for the Trust, working closely with the lead Pharmacist for Cancer Services, the Lead Pharmacists for Clinical Trials, and a fully established Quality Assurance and Quality Control team.
To act as the accountable pharmacist for the unit and advise the Chief Pharmacist on technical service matters.
