Job summary

Scrumconnect Consulting is seeking a Lead Performance Tester (SC Cleared/ SC Eligible) to deliver hands-on load and performance testing across large-scale digital services and backend applications in London, United Kingdom. This is a technically delivery-focused role in governed environments where performance, resilience, and scalability are critical to service success.

Qualifications

Experience delivering load and performance tests for large-scale digital services.
Experience with AWS-hosted environments and cloud-based distributed systems.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

Design and execute load, stress, volume, soak, and scalability tests.
Analyse performance results, logs, and system metrics to identify bottlenecks.
Gather and validate performance NFRs, volumetrics, and capacity assumptions.
Prepare and maintain performance test scripts and execution runbooks.
Execute performance tests in cloud-hosted (AWS) non-production environments.
Raise performance defects with clear technical evidence.
Support CI/CD integration for performance testing where required.
Contribute to test reports, defect triage, and test completion evidence.
Collaborate closely with developers, architects, platform, and operations teams.
