About The Role

Our People Team is recruiting and looking for an experienced Lead People Partner to join them on a 12-month basis.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a collaborative and progressive HR professional with experience working proactively with senior leaders, to support our Chief Commercial Officer. The role will form a strong partnership with the leadership teams to develop and deliver a people plan that achieves strategic, business-focused solutions. A key focus will be shaping and delivering organisational change as the organisation goes through a period of integration.

The role holder will be responsible for coaching, guiding, and challenging senior leaders, including the Executive Team, on all aspects of People and Culture, acting as a trusted partner and champion of our people vision.

This role offers variety, including priorities such as: improving leadership and management capability, progressing inclusion and diversity ambitions, and navigating organisational change.

Working closely with the wider People Team, this role is responsible for ensuring that the people aspects of the Society's strategy are planned and delivered to an exceptional standard. This includes coaching and mentoring our People Advisors.

Being a catalyst for change and identifying areas of opportunity within your areas and more broadly will be key. You will lead or oversee people initiatives and projects from inception to delivery, tracking progress to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with our values.

The role can be based in Manchester or at our Head Office in Binley, Coventry, with travel required to both locations. A hybrid working arrangement is in place.
