Job summary

Ocho are partnering with a leading global professional services firm to recruit an additional Penetration Tester for their growing security team in the UK. This hands-on specialist role puts you at the technical frontline, leading testing across the firm's systems and shaping security testing strategy.

You’ll own the testing tools and processes, translate findings into practical recommendations, and help document training materials.

Qualifications

• Deep penetration testing knowledge and clear boundary between vulnerability assessment and pen testing.
• Hands-on experience with Nessus, AppScan, Burp Suite, Nipper, Metasploit, Kali and Wireshark.
• Mobile platform security experience.
• Strong manual testing skills with OWASP, CVEs and current exploits.
• API testing experience; scripting or programming ability is a plus.
• Keeps on top of the threat landscape and can explain complex issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Leading penetration testing across the firm's systems, platforms and applications.
• Owning and managing the core testing tools, platforms and processes as the function's SME.
• Validating vulnerabilities and writing clear reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Testing AI-enabled applications and agents, and using AI to sharpen testing.
• Assisting with internal training materials and documentation.
