We are looking to recruit experienced Lead Pega Business Architects to join us on fast-moving, innovative, and influential work in the Defence and Security Sector. This is a contract role.
Flexible, primarily remote working with approximately 2 days a month in a client or company office.
Main responsibilities
- Support and guide the ongoing definition of the product roadmap with business stakeholders.
- Requirement gathering, ideation, and documentation of Pega-based platforms and applications, including entity diagrams and relevant frameworks to ensure effective identification of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure solutions designed and developed by the team align with business needs, conforming to Pega design practices and technology principles.
- Lead and guide existing Business Architects regarding behaviors and desired outcomes in line with the product roadmap.
- Promote standard methodology and education to colleagues and clients.
- Operate within and suggest best practices/patterns applicable to Pega technology and the business domain.
- Bridge the gap between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring Pega capabilities are leveraged appropriately.
- Provide Pega platform and business process expertise to client-side delivery stakeholders.
- Liaise with stakeholders within and outside project teams to achieve success.
Support successful outcomes:
- Meet customer needs through continuous engagement, within SiXworks processes, standards, and policies, with minimal guidance.
- Support delivery of products responsively, flexibly, and efficiently.
- Help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Maintain transparency in methodology and approach.
This will include:
- Understanding relevant technology and security characteristics and solution options.
- Understanding customers’ operational and business environments.
- Supporting the design and delivery of secure, innovative solutions.
- Assisting with initial project design, pricing, and resourcing as needed.
- Ensuring projects follow appropriate methodologies.
- Reporting to delivery team leadership as required.
- Contributing to team retrospectives.
- Sharing knowledge and experience within the team.
- Maintaining security and Pega-related training and competencies.
- Supporting the production of project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with project guidelines and standards.
- Leading small streams of work as required, influencing processes, standards, and patterns.
Certification Requirements for role:
- Pega Certified Business Architect certification on Pega 8.8 or higher.
- Preferably, Pega Certified System Architect+ on Pega 8.8 or higher.
- Experience in multiple projects with similar responsibilities.
- Experience with Pega tools like Pega Agile Studio and Pega Blueprint.
- Experience or training in Pega Customer Service is advantageous.
