Job summary

Compass Community Schools in Burnley is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA with a strong background in Sport and Physical Education to join a small, dedicated team. You will lead the school's sporting provision, plan engaging PE sessions, and coordinate external opportunities.

You will also support in classrooms and on educational trips, helping to develop the educational and personal growth of our students with SEMH needs. Join to contribute to both curriculum and extra-curricular activity.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent (preferred).
• Strong background in Sport and Physical Education.
• Ability to lead and coordinate PE provision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the school's sporting provision, planning engaging PE and sport activities.
• Deliver high-quality physical education and sport sessions.
• Organise and coordinate external PE and sporting opportunities.
• Support students taking BTEC Sport as an option.
• Support in classrooms and on educational trips.
