Job summary

Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a committed Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the experienced Paediatric OT team in North Tyneside. You will assess motor, perceptual, and physical abilities and deliver individual or group sessions to children, with opportunities to develop within a supportive team.

The role involves collaboration with health, education and social care partners, with a focus on improving service delivery for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must have HCPC registration and a degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Extensive post-registration experience in an advanced Occupational Therapy role.
• Knowledge of audit procedures and quality improvement methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT service in the paediatric setting.
• Lead on advancing the specialty service and provide clinical expertise at an advanced level.
• Manage a caseload with highly complex needs and supervise junior staff and students.
