Job summary
West London NHS Trust is seeking a Lead for Dysphagia in Hounslow to provide autonomous, expert care for babies, children and young people with dysphagia, with a small caseload for preschoolers with complex needs. The role includes training and supervising staff, plus opportunities to shape service development within a large, integrated Children's Therapy Service.

Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Speech and Language Therapist in paediatric dysphagia or complex needs.
- Extensive experience in specialist assessments and interventions for paediatric clients.
- Experience supervising SLTs and contributing to staff development.
- Advanced knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic interventions for paediatric dysphagia.
Responsibilities
- Lead the dysphagia service, developing income and training strategies.
- Provide supervision and appraisal for SLTs and support staff.
- Train and mentor staff in dysphagia assessment and intervention.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to shape service development.
