Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust in Derbyshire is seeking a Permanent Band 7 Paediatric Dietitian to join our paediatric dietetic team. The post is predominantly based at Queens Hospital with cross-site working across RDH and Burton.

The role provides dietetic service to inpatient and outpatient paediatric patients, leads clinical service provision for children with eating disorders, and runs a specialist feeding clinic in collaboration with the speech and language

Qualifications

• Registered paediatric dietitian with Band 7 level experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead paediatric dietetic service at Queens Hospital and supervise peers.
• Run a specialist feeding clinic in collaboration with speech and language therapists.
• Oversee paediatric dietetics service for eating disorders across acute wards cross-site.
• Collaborate with MDTs and lead evidence-based practice initiatives.
