Job summary

Freedom Networks is seeking a Chargehand Linesman to lead the Overhead Line team on site in the UK. You will construct, maintain and replace overhead electrical networks up to 33kV while upholding safety and company standards.

The role requires Linesman experience, IPAF, NRSWA and a full UK driving licence, with a strong safety mindset and teamwork. A competitive package and flexible benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Linesperson.
• Experience on dead networks and/or live LV working.
• IPAF accreditation, training can be provided.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NRSWA Operative qualification.
• Strong safety awareness and a risk-averse approach.

• Team-oriented and high-performance focused.

Responsibilities

• Be a core part of the Overhead Line team on-site.
• Erect, maintain and replace overhead networks up to 33kV.
• Ensure work aligns with Freedom standards and safety rules.
• Lead by example on-site and safely execute tasks.
• Conduct risk assessments before starting work and review site conditions.
• Promote safe practices and maintain equipment in good condition.
• Mentor and develop fellow team members.
