Job summary

CPR is seeking a Lead Overhead Catenary System Engineer to take technical ownership of the OCS on a high-profile UK railway programme. The role requires understanding the distinction between high-speed rail standards and conventional networks, and leading the technical assurance of the OCS design.

You will set standards and provide technical leadership across the discipline, coordinating with other teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Background in overhead catenary/OCS on large-scale programmes.
• Experience in high-speed rail environments and UK standards.
• Ability to lead engineering on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of interoperability standards and applicable legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical assurance of OCS design.
• Set and apply programme standards across the contractor.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders.
• Support governance processes including peer reviews and stage-gate assurance.
