Job summary

Critical Project Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Lead Overhead Catenary System Engineer for a High Speed Rail programme in the UK. You will take technical ownership of the OCS, set standards for the design, assure contractor work, and provide leadership across the discipline in a client-side role.

You will collaborate with engineers from several interfaces, manage governance reviews, drive best practice, and ensure interoperability with national standards.

Qualifications

• Background in overhead catenary or overhead line engineering on large-scale/high-speed programmes.
• Experience with interoperability standards in railway systems.
• Ability to lead engineering on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and manage stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Common Safety Method and UK CDM regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical assurance of the OCS design and set the engineering standards for the programme.
• Provide professional leadership across the discipline and coordinate with other engineering teams.
• Drive governance processes including peer reviews and stage-gate assurance.
• Develop best practice and drive consistency and efficiency across delivery.
