Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking an experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to drive service transformation at our Birmingham Neuro division. You will lead the OT team, manage a complex neurorehabilitation caseload, and shape care pathways across the seven-day service model.

You will supervise and mentor multidisciplinary colleagues, develop treatment programmes with clients and carers, and contribute to governance, audits and service development in a high-investment facility with advanced rehab

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation or related complex care settings.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and motivates multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Occupational Therapy team.
• Plan and prioritise a complex clinical caseload as autonomous practitioner.
• Collaborate with clients and families to support engagement in therapy.
• Provide supervision, teaching and appraisal for junior staff and students.
• Contribute to service planning, development and evaluation.
