Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Lead Occupational Therapist for Adult Mental Health Urgent Care. The role covers acute inpatient wards at Lanchester Road, West Park and Roseberry Park, with 37.5 hours per week and a focus on professional leadership across the OT service.

The successful candidate will manage a small complex caseload, supervise staff, ensure high standards of care and lead service improvement in a Trust-wide leadership group.

Qualifications

• Pre-registration qualification in occupational therapy (relevant professional field) as recognised by HCPC.
• Registration with HCPC.
• Evidence of post-registration master’s level learning or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of occupational therapy across the designated service area.
• Provide specialist advice to staff and MDT members and lead on supervision.
• Receive complex requests, triage, assess and intervention planning for self-care, productivity and leisure.
• Co‑produce negotiated occupational goals with service users and evaluate outcomes.

Master’s level learning or equivalent experience
