Your role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle EBS UAT Tester with deep functional expertise in the Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules of Oracle R12. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting User Acceptance Testing activities by working closely with business users, functional consultants, and QA teams to ensure that business requirements are met and validated effectively.

  • Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts for Oracle R12, specifically in Purchasing and SCM modules (Order Management, Inventory).
  • Understand L3-level business processes and translate them into clear, executable UAT test scripts.
  • Work closely with business end users during test execution to ensure accurate validation of business scenarios.
  • Prioritize and coordinate UAT activities in collaboration with Functional Consultants, Business Users, and Test Teams.
  • Track and manage defects effectively using JIRA, ensuring timely escalation and resolution in partnership with the UAT Test Manager and Defect Manager.
  • Provide updates and status reports on UAT progress, risks, and issues to project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of UAT processes and documentation standards.

Your Skills and Experiences

Mandatory Skills

  • Hands-on UAT testing experience in Oracle R12.
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS in the areas of: Purchasing andSupply Chain Management (Order Management, Inventory)
  • Demonstrated ability to write, execute, and validate UAT test scripts aligned to real-world business processes.
  • Experienced in JIRA for test tracking and defect logging.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience working directly with business users to support and guide them through UAT cycles.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior involvement in Oracle EBS upgrade or implementation projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.
  • Exposure to additional Oracle EBS modules is a plus.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
