Job description

Lead Oracle Applications E-Business Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Lead Oracle Applications E-Business Database Administrator to join our growing Managed Services Practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest cloud technology, including OCI, across various sectors and industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day DBA support for multiple customers
  • Lead support tasks for Oracle EBS Versions 11i, 12.1.3, and 12.2.x, including issues, cloning, and patching
  • Perform RMAN backups, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement Shell Scripting, TLS, and jar signing certificates
  • Configure external access, load balancing, and shared filesystems
  • Support OCI PaaS applications and databases
  • Create, update, and resolve Oracle service requests
  • Collaborate with technical and functional consultants to meet client requirements
  • Liaise with customers to manage change requests
  • Identify and address persistent system problems
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery sites and participate in DR tests
  • Conduct DB/OS health checks
  • Support database upgrades, migrations, and EBS point releases
  • Support OCI PaaS applications and databases, including RAC, ASM, and Single Sign-On
  • Assist in transitioning clients into managed services

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and supporting OCI PaaS applications and databases
  • Knowledge of RAC, ASM, and Single Sign-On
  • Experience with database upgrades, migrations, and EBS version upgrades
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred
  • Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
  • Eligibility for BPSS clearance is mandatory
