Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Optometrist to deliver clinical excellence across clinics and triage, using the latest testing technology and mentoring colleagues. You will contribute to community eye care and join a supportive team in store leadership.

You'll be GOC registered (or near completion), NHS performer number, and have excellent communication and organisation skills alongside a genuine patient-centred approach. Flexible career paths may be available.

Qualifications

• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
• NHS performer number (or working towards it)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration
• Experience supporting enhanced services (nice to have)
• Strong understanding of local clinical networks (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care
• Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice
• Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs
• Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals
• Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others
• Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift
