Job summary

Boots Opticians is looking for an Optometrist to lead clinics and deliver exceptional patient care using the latest testing technology. You will triage, advise on eye health, and support colleagues with clinical expertise across the store.

The role requires GOC registration (or within 6 months) and NHS performer number or progress toward it, plus strong communication and organisation skills and a genuine interest in patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Confident, compassionate optometrist focused on patient care.
• GOC registered (or expected within 6 months).

Responsibilities

• Leading clinics and delivering outstanding patient care.
• Using the latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice.
• Providing enhanced services, from triage support to advanced assessments, depending on store needs.
• Offering clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Collaborating with external healthcare professionals.
• Keeping your clinical knowledge up to date and sharing it with others.
• Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift.
