Job summary

Inspired Recruitment Group is recruiting for an Assistant Manager / Team Leader at a busy high-street optical practice in West Sussex. You will support the current manager and lead a team of around 8–9 colleagues daily, helping keep the practice running smoothly and delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers a basic salary of 31,000–32,000, a monthly bonus, 28 days’ holiday and genuine progression opportunities, with potential development towards further management

Qualifications

• Strong optical experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience beneficial; ready to take on more responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the current Practice Manager with the day-to-day running of the store.
• Leading, supporting and motivating a team of around 8-9 staff.
• Helping maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Supporting the team with dispensing and optical duties.
• Coaching and developing colleagues.
• Taking responsibility for the practice in the manager’s absence.
• Contributing to the continued success and growth of the practice.
