Tarmac Trading Limited is seeking a Lead Operative to coordinate shift activities, ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing operations and achievement of production targets. You will deputise for the Site Supervisor and develop the capability of the team.

The role requires strong leadership, SHE awareness, and practical experience operating plant and equipment within a manufacturing setting. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments and leading teams.
• Experience operating plant and equipment and ensuring SHE compliance.
• Ability to prioritise workload and maintain production plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support operational teams during shifts.
• Allocate daily tasks and resources to meet production requirements.
• Monitor performance and adjust priorities to maintain efficiency.
• Ensure production plans are delivered on schedule and to quality standards.
• Support troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
