Job summary
GMP Recruitment Ltd are seeking an Installation Technician to lead on-site installation of specialist ventilation systems across agricultural and industrial environments. The role involves ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while supporting colleagues and customers throughout the installation process.
You will also contribute to product development through feedback and assisting with research and testing of new products.
Qualifications
- Time-served mechanical technician background or strong mechanical engineering experience.
- Basic Electrical knowledge.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
- IPAF, PASMA and CSCS cards are advantageous, with training provided.
- Ability to work at height with access equipment.
- Strong on-site leadership and installation supervision skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead on-site installation of ventilation equipment.
- Supervise installation teams and coordinate on-site labour.
- Ensure safety and high-quality standard on all sites.
- Deliver training and technical support to dealer network.
- Assist R&D with product testing and feedback.
- Maintain company vehicles and complete site documentation.
- Uphold health & safety procedures.
