Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ventilation Fitter / HVAC Installation Engineer for installation-focused work across commercial projects in Dundee and surrounding areas. Salary up to £52,000 DOE, with a company van for use on and off-site.

You will install ventilation systems from drawings, ensuring safety and quality on diverse sites including offices, schools and student accommodation. Experience with ductwork and mechanical fittings is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Ventilation Fitter / Ductwork Fitter / Mechanical Fitter.
• Hands-on ventilation installation experience.
• Able to work from drawings and specifications.
• Good understanding of site health & safety and safe systems of work.
• Reliable and professional attitude.

We're working with an established and growing ventilation specialist who are looking to add an Experienced Ventilation Fitter / HVAC Installation Engineer to their team.

With a strong pipeline of work secured and further projects in the pipeline, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fitter looking to join a well-established business where you'll be trusted to get on with the job.

The Role

This is a predominantly installation-focused position, working across a wide variety of commercial projects.

• Commercial offices
• Schools and educational facilities
• Student accommodation
• Large commercial developments
• Agricultural and specialist projects
• Other buildings requiring ventilation systems

You'll be responsible for the installation and fitting of ventilation systems, working from drawings and specifications and ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Ventilation Fitter with strong practical, hands-on experience.

You don't necessarily need a specific formal qualification - experience and the ability to confidently carry out ventilation installations are the key requirements.

You should have:

• Proven experience as a Ventilation Fitter / Ductwork Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
• Strong hands-on ventilation installation experience
• The ability to work from drawings and specifications
• A good understanding of site health & safety
• Awareness of risk assessments and safe systems of work
• A reliable and professional approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
