Lead of Account Management, CN Global Selling

Amazon Global Selling helps individuals and businesses increase sales and reach new customers worldwide. Currently, over 50% of Amazon's unit sales come from third-party sellers. The China-based Global Selling team recruits local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 18 international stores and supports their growth and success. Our vision is to be the first choice for all Chinese businesses going global.

We are expanding our Amazon Paid Service strategy globally and seek a passionate, innovative, results-driven leader to build and develop a team of Account Managers (AM). This team will support China-based Sellers enrolled in Amazon Paid Services to enhance their presence and business on Amazon's global marketplace. The role involves collaborating with various teams to manage the end-to-end journey of enrolled Sellers and to grow their businesses internationally. Additionally, the role will own the growth strategy for specific product categories for CN-based Sellers, identifying opportunities through deep analysis of Seller business and industry trends, engaging with marketplace stakeholders, and driving cross-functional initiatives to facilitate Seller growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Hire and develop a talented AM team.
  2. Lead the team in providing consulting services to help CN sellers succeed in Amazon's global marketplaces, leveraging deep understanding of the Amazon ecosystem and business acumen.
  3. Guide the team to work with Sellers enrolled in Amazon paid services to expand their product offerings and improve their experience, aiming to delight global consumers and grow Seller businesses profitably.
  4. Simplify existing processes and innovate new mechanisms to enhance team productivity and efficiency.
  5. Support Seller recruitment efforts, including prospect targeting and program enrollment.
  6. Generate high-quality Seller insights to influence Amazon WW product development and policy changes, improving experiences for both consumers and Sellers.
  7. Align with WW teams on category development plans, pilot new features/programs, and develop best practices for scale.
Leadership
  • Become a thought leader in defining success criteria and understanding the business needs of large Sellers in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage all aspects of client relationships to ensure the highest standard of Seller experience.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher.
  • 8-10+ years of relevant experience in sales, business development, or account management with a proven track record.
  • Over 5 years of people management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with relevant tools (Excel, internal tools).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Customer-obsessed, fast learner, big thinker, detail-oriented, high standards, and enjoyable to work with.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in e-commerce, FMCG, or consulting industries.
  • MBA degree preferred.
