North London NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to join The Beacon Centre, our Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient service for young people with complex mental health needs. You will provide clinical, professional and operational leadership for the Occupational Therapy service and lead a dedicated OT team within a multidisciplinary environment.

Qualificações

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Significant post-registration experience with complex mental health needs.
• Experience of leadership, supervision and workforce development.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and risk management skills.
• Experience of service improvement, audits or quality improvement work.
• A commitment to evidence-based, person-centred and occupation-focused practice.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical, professional and operational leadership for the Occupational Therapy service.
• Lead a dedicated Occupational Therapy team and contribute to the Senior Management Team.
• Drive service development, quality improvement and innovation across the service.
• Deliver highly specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for young people with complex mental health difficulties.
• Support the multidisciplinary team through consultation, training and practice-based learning.
• Lead and develop a skilled Occupational Therapy workforce.
• Drive quality improvement, service evaluation and research activity.
• Work alongside experienced professionals across nursing, psychology, psychiatry, family therapy, social work and education.
