Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist to join The Beacon Centre, our specialist Tier 4 CAMHS inpatient service for young people with complex mental health needs.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead Occupational Therapy within a highly specialist multidisciplinary environment while making a lasting difference to the lives of young people and their families.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Post-registration MSc in Occupational Therapy or mental health is required.
• Leadership training or education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• As Lead OT, provide clinical, professional and operational leadership for the OT service.
• Lead a dedicated OT team and contribute to senior management and service development.
• Deliver highly specialist OT assessments and interventions for complex CAMHS cases.
• Support the multidisciplinary team with consultation, training and learning.
• Drive quality improvement, service evaluation and research activity.
• Collaborate with nursing, psychology, psychiatry, family therapy, social work and education.
