Job summary

South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust is expanding its Ultrasound team. We seek an Advanced Practitioner in Ultrasound to rotate across Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon and surrounding areas, reporting ultrasound examinations to a high standard and contributing to student teaching.

Applicants should hold a CASE-accredited Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Ultrasound and be HCPC/NMC registered or on the voluntary register.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate or Diploma in Medical Ultrasound from a CASE accredited institution.
• HCPC/NMC registered or on the Voluntary Register of Sonographers.
• Ability to rotate across three sites and work extended day/weekend sessions.
• Carry out and independently report ultrasound examinations to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ultrasound examinations and independently report those examinations to a high standard.
• Report examinations according to the modalities in which qualified.
• Take part in the practical and clinical teaching of student sonographers.
• Work across 3 sites with extended day/weekend sessions to improve service needs.
