Job summary

Busy Bees Leeds, Colton Mill, part of Busy Bees Nurseries, is seeking a Senior Nursery Room Leader. You will oversee multiple rooms, lead planning, and ensure educational strategies are consistently delivered across the centre.

You will mentor Room Leaders, support safeguarding, build strong relationships with parents, and help maintain high standards of care and learning within a welcoming, award-winning nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in an early years setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with parents and staff.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high-quality early years practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and delivery across multiple rooms, ensuring consistency of the curriculum.
• Lead, mentor and develop Room Leaders to build a high-performing team.
• Safeguard wellbeing of children and support children with additional needs as required.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and keep them informed of development.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and safeguarding protocols centre-wide.
